With guidance from the Ohio State University's Center on Education and Training for Employment, RESNA analyzed the work responsibilities of assistive technology (AT) providers who work in primary and secondary schools. The resulting job task outline was then surveyed by practitioners; their feedback provides a general profile of AT providers in education and identifies their core job responsibilities.
The information in this document can be used by practitioners to compare their responsibilities/knowledge/skills with those of their peers; it can also be used by employers to identify personnel training needs and to develop job descriptions and job performance criteria.
This document will be delivered electronically; no shipping charges will apply.
